The Viking Child Care Center hosted a press conference on April 12 to celebrate the positive strides made in the recently-passed 2022-23 NYS Budget to fund improvements in access to child care for families. The budget agreement will increase the family income eligibility for childcare subsidies and dedicates funds to increase wages for those working in the child care field, among other steps. The event was sponsored by the New York State Coalition for Children’s Behavioral Health.
